hi!

I'm isabella,

a creative writer with an affinity for witty humor and conceptual storytelling.

Influenced by a background in poetry and art, I'm passionate about finding the heart of the story—the beauty and pain and humor and nostalgia that connect us in an ever-changing world.

I'm currently a copywriter at Lidl. Past clients include Sarah Olivia Marketing, McBride Sisters Wine Company, Many Ethnicities, and North of the James Magazine.

Prima ballerina, that was me for 10 years. I pliéd my way to five Nutcracker performances and received praise for perfectly lacing my pointe shoes. You can still find me pirouetting while cooking (don't worry, it's not as dangerous as it sounds).

Content writer by day, fiction writer by night. I'm working on two novels at the moment, and I write short stories when inspiration hits!

I'm from Richmond, Virginia, a small, colorful city with a vibrant arts scene. I'll never forget waking up to the smell of freshly baked cookies from the factory downtown or rolling down the hills of Maymont Park, still one of my favorite places in the world.

I love to cook. My grandpa always says every cook has a dish they can't master, no matter how hard they try. Mine was pancakes. And not to brag, but I've kind of mastered them. My secret? Ricotta.

Every week, I choose a creative writing prompt from the internet and write a story under 500 words. Consider this your digital dessert.

reach out, touch faith.

Sorry, but these Depeche Mode lyrics were too fitting here (except for the faith part. I'm a writer, not a Jehovah's Witness!). If you're interested in potentially working together, fill out the below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

thanks!
